Privacy Policy

TerraSync Software Development Services (“we”), a business registered with the Department of Trade and Industry in Monkayo, Davao de Oro, Philippines, operates AgriNexa, an agricultural learning app, and is the personal information controller for the data described here. This policy describes what this version of the app actually does, on the web, in the Android app and in the Windows app. It is written to follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

1. Information we collect

• Learning and progress data – answers, scores, flashcard schedules and ratings, mistakes, practice-test results, lessons opened, study time and streaks.
• Profile details you choose to give – display name, learner level, school, graduation year, target date, study goal and subjects of interest. All optional.
• Things you create – your own flashcards (including any photos you add to them), the words you highlight in lessons and the notes you write, and lab scenes or models you save. Highlights and notes are saved with your progress (and synced with it when account sync is on). Photos and lab files stay on your device; they are not synced.
• A random device code – a short random code (not your phone’s ID) used only to merge progress correctly when more than one device syncs.
• Error notes – short error messages kept on your device for the app to recover. They are not sent to us.
• Account details (only if you sign in) – your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, the name and profile picture Google shares. AgriNexa has no passwords: sign-in uses a one-time email code or Google. While you are signed in, a copy of your progress (the same data listed above, without photos or lab files) is saved to your account so you can continue on another device. You can delete your account and its saved progress at any time in Settings → Delete my data, or at tsagrinexa.com/delete-account.
• Who processes account data – Supabase (accounts and saved progress; servers in Singapore), Resend (sends the sign-in emails) and, if you choose it, Google (sign-in). They process it only to provide these services.

2. What we do not collect

No location, contacts, camera or microphone access, advertising identifiers, payment details, or sensitive personal information (such as health, religion or government ID numbers). No analytics, advertising or tracking tools are included.

3. Why we use it

Only to provide the study features you use: personalised practice, spaced-repetition review, progress tracking and, when you choose, syncing across your devices. We rely on your consent and on the processing being necessary to provide the service you asked for (RA 10173, Sec. 12). Readiness estimates and study suggestions are study aids only; no decision with legal or similar effect is made about you.

4. AI features

AI features are switched off in this version. No questions, study notes or study data are sent to any AI service. If AI features are switched on in a later version, this section will say exactly what is sent and to whom before it happens.

5. Where your data is stored and who can see it

• On your device – always: browser storage (web) or the app’s private storage (Android and Windows). Anyone with access to your unlocked device or browser profile could see it; the app does not add its own encryption. The Android and Windows apps also keep one backup copy of your progress so an update or reinstall doesn’t lose it: on Android in the app’s own settings storage and in the file Documents › AgriNexa › agrinexa-progress-backup.json on the phone (this file stays if you uninstall the app; any app allowed to read your files could read it), on Windows in the file Documents\AgriNexa\agrinexa-progress-backup.json, which stays after uninstalling until you delete it. Delete my data empties that copy too.
• Your account record (web only, optional) – when you use AgriNexa on the web while signed in, your progress is also saved to a private record tied to your web account so it syncs between devices. That record is stored by the web hosting provider, may be stored outside the Philippines, and is readable only by your signed-in account under the platform’s access rules. You can turn this off at any time (Settings → Privacy choices).
• Sharing – we do not sell, rent or share your data for advertising. We disclose it only if required by law.
• Other services – Google Fonts and the cdnjs / jsDelivr networks (typefaces and the 3D graphics library) receive your IP address when those files load. The web hosting platform applies its own privacy policy to your use of it.

6. Security

What this version does: no secret keys are stored in the app; synced records are kept per user under the hosting platform’s access controls; text you enter is cleaned and shown as plain text; network traffic uses HTTPS. What it cannot do: protect data on a device someone else can unlock. No method is 100% secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will follow the notification rules of RA 10173 and the National Privacy Commission. If a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify the National Privacy Commission and the people affected within 72 hours of learning of it, and tell you what happened and what you can do.

7. Retention

Your account and the progress saved to it are kept while you have an account. Delete my data deletes your account and its saved progress from our servers right away, and erases the data on that device (including flashcard photos and saved lab scenes). Our service providers keep short technical records, such as sign-in times and error logs, for a limited period for security, then delete them.

8. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to object, to have it corrected, to have it erased or blocked, to data portability, to claim damages, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph). In the app you can:

• See and correct your profile – Settings → Profile.
• Get a copy of your data – email us and we will send it to you in a common file format.
• Erase everything – Delete my data.

9. Cookies, analytics and tracking

AgriNexa sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking. It uses browser storage (localStorage and IndexedDB) only to save your progress, settings and the items you create. The hosting platform may use its own cookies under its own policy.

10. Children’s privacy

AgriNexa is meant for senior high school students and older. If a learner is under 18, a parent or guardian should review this policy. We do not knowingly collect more than the optional profile details above from minors.

11. Changes

We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.

Paid plans and advertising

Current status: Premium is not on sale and AgriNexa shows no advertising. Nothing below is active yet; we will update this policy and tell you in the app before either starts.

• Payments (planned): handled by PayMongo Philippines on its own secure page. AgriNexa would receive only what is needed to confirm your plan – an order number, the amount, the payment status and the date – and never your card number, CVV or e-wallet PIN.
• Subscription records (planned): your user ID, plan, status, start and end dates, promotion used and the payment reference, kept while you have an account and as long as tax and accounting rules require.
• Advertising (planned, Free accounts only): any ad network would be named here before use. Ads would never be shown inside lessons, tests, 3D models, sign-in or payment screens, and your study records, answers, tutor conversations and precise location would never be shared with advertisers. Where consent is required, ads would be shown only after you agree.
• Sponsored Premium: if a school or organisation sponsors your Premium, we keep your user ID, the end date and a short note; no study data is shared with the sponsor unless you agree.
